The village is a traditional - more than 20 centuries old - village, where someone can stroll the cobblestone streets and sit in one of the many cafes for a cup of greek coffee or an ouzo."

High-end camping atmosphere with exquisite castle views. The name "Castle View" fits: You have the grounds of the place a direct view of the high castle ruins. We had one of the 12 or so "bungalows" in the campsite. This gives you a private, clean bathroom and all the amenities of a hotel room. But also relaxed camping atmosphere while chatting on the terrace of the main building. Because, if in the vicinity of Sparta, then please also down-to-earth. Otherwise: There is a swimming pool (summer), the center of the village of Mystras is less than a 10 minute walk and the castle invites you to explore. A
We selected a newish apartment at the rear of the property. The view is to a grassed square with large Mulberry trees. The space in the apartment is very good. The bed really comfortable. The aircon worked well. And, the bathroom is modern and spacious. Wevisited every accommodation option in Mystras and this apartment stood out for quality and value. Wow! What a surprise find this was. We loved our not so little bungalow which had been recently refurbished to a high standard. Very spacious, with an extra large bathroom and a super comfy bed. We could also park the car right outside - and we had a view of Mystra Castle from our patio, surrounded by green grass and trees. 6/28/19
Very beautiful location. The facility is clean and convenient to get around. The staff there are kind and friendly. Since we are travelers they were very helpful on giving us tips on where to go, where to eat. Over all great experience. 6/29/19
